ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:
The Department of Home Science was started in the year 2019 under Garg Degree College. The Department established with the Three years Bachelor programme in Home Science. This Three years Bachelor programme in Home Science is a composite course focusing on the various aspects of Women Development. We will plan Master Programme in three streams of Home Science such as Food Nutrition, Clothing & Textile and Human Development probably in next year.
It aims for holistic development of students, and their capacity building through best and innovative teaching skills and extracurricular activities.
The Department of Home Science aphorism is "BALIKAON KA UTHTHAN HI HAMARA PARAM KARTAVYA HAI".
The academic disciplines in the college are Artistic, Creative and Indian cultured based.
The focus of the Department is to have holistic education and development of the women.
